The Color of Violence hit the studio

Travis Ritcher (guitars, vocals) of From First To Last, posted a bulletin informing everyone that his and Derek Bloom’s side project, The Color of Violence, are recording. The record will come out on Epitaph in early 2009.

Jon from Daughters and Joel from The Felix Culpa have also made it onto this recording.

Macca’s on Fire!

Paul McCartney’s new CD Electric Arguments comes out November 17th. Once again he collaborates with the producer Youth who also joined him in the makings of Strawberries Oceans Ships Forest back in 1993. Can’t wait to hear his smack talk of Heather Mills!

Deftones Bassist, Chi Cheng, in Coma

Following a car accident on Tuesday, 38-year old Chi Cheng is in a coma. The Deftones MySpace has a new blog up stating that Cheng is in serious, but stable. Please keep in his your thoughts and prayers.

with Houston Calls and Brighten

The Morning Light is gearing up to hop on a short headlining tour with Houston Calls and Brighten, from November 3rd to November 13th!

The tour will kick off in Cleveland, Ohio and wrap up in Des Moines, Iowa.  If you haven’t had the opportunity to catch them yet, there’s no better time then now to be graced with their live performance.  The Morning Light will continue move and shake their fans on the dance floor as they play tracks off of their recently released self-titled album.

This will be The Morning Lights first headlining tour and their first chance to play for fans their entire set.  They have been on the road all year touring with artists such as The Hush Sound, The Cab, The Rocket Summer, and Phantom Planet.

Alternative Press Magazine named The Morning Light one of the recommended bands for 2008, and they continue to impress as they tour their way into ‘09!

Snow Patrol announce 2009 tour dates

Snow Patrol have announced a UK and Irish tour for February and March 2009.

The ‘Taking Back The City’ tour kicks off in Bournemouth on February 22 leading up to a homecoming show for the band in Belfast on March 19.
